“150 East 78th Street is a world-class building offering the highest level of finishes and design.  Midwood and EJS couldn’t be more excited to see our vision come to life in record time,” said  John Usdan, CEO of Midwood Investment & Development. 150 East 78th Street has attracted buyers who are enthused by Robert A.M. Stern’s elegant reflection of New York City tradition in a current way. Inspired by the Upper East Side’s beloved  Classic architecture, Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed 150 East 78th Street to fit in perfectly with the surrounding townhomes and tree-lined streets. The building features a boutique design,  with expansive half-floor and full-floor layouts and direct elevator access into each residence,  generous private terraces, as well as airy proportions that allow an abundance of natural light through multiple exposures.

Ranging from three-to-five-bedroom homes, notable residences currently in contract at 150 East  78th Street include Duplex PH11A, featuring multiple arched windows and two terraces, asking  $20 million as well as a full floor combination, totaling over 5,000 square feet, asking $14.3 million.  Sales and marketing for the building is being exclusively handled by Alexa  Lambert of Compass Development Marketing Group.

“Buyers and brokers are recognizing the unique opportunity to live at 150 East 78th Street, a  boutique new development located in one of the most beautiful and established neighborhoods  in the world,” said Lambert. “Since launching sales, we’ve continually seen a tremendous  response from buyers and brokers, who are gravitating toward the building’s privacy and  wonderful amenities. The city’s most celebrated cultural destinations such as Central Park, The  Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Guggenheim, are also just a few blocks away, not to  mention Madison and Fifth Avenue shopping and dining.

Amenities include The Parlor, complete with a billiards table and en suite catering kitchen for private gatherings; The Athletic Club featuring a regulation squash court and retractable basketball hoop; and state-of-the-art fitness center outfitted with Technogym equipment, private training studio, and golf simulator. There’s a new tallest tower in the Upper East Side, located at 180 East 88th Street, DDG's latest masterpiece and the tallest residential building on the Upper East Side north of 72nd Street.

One of the most exciting features about 180e88 is its extensive selection of amenities, unprecedented on the Upper East Side and for residential buildings of this intimate scale. The remarkable spaces have just opened and have been designed by Hadas Dembo of Mise en Scene Design, who also designed a collection of stunning model residences throughout the building. Spanning eight floors, the amenities include a half-court indoor basketball court and partial indoor soccer pitch, wine room, game room, fitness center and yoga studio, residents' lounge and an imaginative children's playroom. The elegant spaces are as thoughtful and elegant as 180e88's distinguished homes.
Designed by DDG and inspired by the boom in high-rise masonry construction in New York in the early 20th century, 180 East 88th Street pays homage to the lost art of traditional craftsmanship and features iconic arches and a striking hand-laid brick façade made of nearly 600,000 handmade bricks by Denmark’s master brickworks Petersen Tegl. The development is home to 47 half- and full-floor residences. Closings are underway and immediate occupancy is available.

Located at 1045 Madison Avenue and East 79th Street on Manhattan’s famed Upper East Side, The Benson has been thoughtfully designed inside and out by AD100 designer, Peter Pennoyer Architects, best known for perfectly marrying both modern and classical architectural styles. The Benson’s overall aesthetic draws its inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood and is reminiscent of the great historic apartment houses of the Upper East Side.

Offering half-floor, full-floor and duplex residences, ranging from three-to-seven-bedrooms, several homes feature gracious private outdoor space and each come with a private elevator landing.

Italian designer and architect Achille Salvagni created a jewel-box lobby, in addition to a stunning cinema room that is part of the robust amenities package available to residents, and for the beautiful custom kitchens, Pennoyer collaborated with bespoke British cabinetry maker Christopher Peacock.

The Benson features a beautifully landscaped rooftop with a fire pit and view of Central Park, in addition to a spa with sauna and steam rooms, a library with an adjoining landscaped garden, an art studio and a fitness center and half-basketball court. A doorman and concierge will be on call around the clock, and the lobby features a cold storage room for food deliveries. There’s also a pet spa, a bicycle storage and additional storage available for purchase.

With construction well underway and the first closings slated for the end of 2021, residences at The Benson start at $12.5 million. Compass Development Marketing Group’s Alexa Lambert is the building’s exclusive sales and marketing agent.
