Douglas Elliman Sponsors 43rd Annual Aspen Gay Ski Week 2020

Douglas Elliman Real Estate celebrated its third consecutive year of sponsorship of the oldest annual Aspen Gay Ski Week currently in its 43rd year. The mainstay week-long event went from January 12th to January 19th, supports AspenOUT, a local nonprofit focused on anti-bullying and tolerance programs supporting the local and national LGBTQ community.

All week long, Elliman hosted a table in the hospitality suite located at the Limelight Hotel to mingle with AGSW guests and showcase the firm’s extensive local, national and international luxury property collection with its global partner, Knight Frank. Guests also received branded swag, including branded AGSW beanies.

Kickstarting AGSW's festivities, Douglas Elliman hosted a Après Ski cocktail reception for agents, executives and VIP guests of AGSW on Wednesday, January 15th at the Gorsuch Ski Café, located in the Gondola Plaza the base of Aspen Mountain for a second year in a row with Jeffrey Gorsuch. Elliman’s Director of Operations in Aspen, Blake Greiner was the DJ for the event.

Developers Clipper Equity and Chetrit Group along with Douglas Elliman agent Monica Novo, hosted a breakfast at The Little Nell for Elliman agents who were in town to learn about their New York development, Gramercy Square. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing and Monica Novo handle sales for the project.

Members of Elliman’s executive suite including Scott Durkin, president and chief operating officer, Stephen Kotler, CEO of brokerage for the Western Region, Stephen Larkin, vice president of public relations and Stephanie Garbarini, vice president of marketing were in town. They were joined by local leadership, Joshua Saslove, president of brokerage for Colorado and Ed Foran, executive manager of sales and managing director. Top agents from around the country were also in Aspen including Monica Novo and Marcos Cohen from New York City, Tim Kelly from the Hamptons, Alison Betts from California and Kayce Driscoll from Florida.

This years was the 42nd annual Gay Aspen Week where some of the top skiers of the LGBTQ community head to Aspen for a week of slopes and partiesrom to support AspenOUT, and to continue local and national funding LGBTQ non-profit programs.
