Jean-Georges Takes the Stage: Inside NYC's Reimagined Wine & Food Festival
This fall, the beloved New York City Wine & Food Festival returns with a fresh new location and a culinary legend at the helm. From October 15–19, the festival will anchor itself in Manhattan’s vibrant Seaport neighborhood, introducing guests to a spectacular lineup of chef-driven events and experiences curated by none other than renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Stepping into the role of Culinary Host, Jean-Georges brings his global expertise and unmatched creativity to the Seaport, organizing intimate dining experiences and unique chef collaborations at his celebrated Tin Building. With the festival’s new digs offering stunning waterfront views and historic charm, attendees can expect an atmosphere as enticing as the cuisine itself.
“We are thrilled to bring our iconic Festival to the Seaport to create a unified, world-class culinary festival,” said Lee Brian Schrager, Festival Founder and Chief Communications Officer and SVP of Corporate Communications for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
In addition to the iconic Grand Tasting and signature parties, the 2025 festival promises a reenergized spirit, thanks to partnerships with Event Zero Foundation and the James Beard Foundation, emphasizing sustainability and the future of dining. The event’s new direction highlights the Seaport’s legacy as New York’s first global port, beautifully blending the neighborhood’s storied past with modern culinary innovation.
Tickets go on sale July 9 at www.nycwff.org, offering food enthusiasts and culinary adventurers the perfect opportunity to savor New York City’s most anticipated gastronomic event of the year.
