Douglas Elliman Development Marketing Commences Sales at 277 Fifth Ave NoMad
Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, a division of Douglas Elliman Realty, announced today that it has commenced sales as the exclusive sales and marketing agent for 22 of the remaining luxury units at 277 Fifth Ave NoMad. The successor sponsor is Shokai, with architectural design by famed starchitect Rafael Viñoly and interiors by Jeffrey Beers International. 277 Fifth Ave is a 55-story modern, glass and steel building located in the very heart of Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. Julia Jiang Hawkins and Charles Hawkins of The Julia Jiang & Charles Hawkins Team at Douglas Elliman and Fredrik Eklund & John Gomes of The Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman are handling the exclusive sales.
“We look forward to working with Shokai on the next phase of 277 Fifth Ave NoMad,” said Susan de França, President & CEO, Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. “Backed by our unprecedented national and international networks, we are confident that our entire team will guide this iconic building to a successful sellout.”
“I am very proud to be part of this project, which is the tallest residential building on Fifth Avenue with some of the best views of New York City from what is arguably the best location in Manhattan,” said Julia Jiang, who represented the buyer for the very first condo sale in the development back in 2017. Julia proceeded to sell eight other homes in the building as well as multiple rentals, setting price per square foot sales records for the development. When awarded the project by the Successor Sponsor Shokai, Julia Jiang and Charles Hawkins enlisted the star-power Eklund | Gomes team for the backing to successful sell out. “This is an incredible opportunity to own a piece of New York City on the famed Fifth Avenue,” added Charles Hawkins.
“I am thrilled to be part of this project, which is the tallest residential building on Fifth Avenue with some of the best views of New York City from what is arguably the best location in Manhattan,” said Fredrik Eklund of Douglas Elliman. “277 Fifth Ave NoMad is the pinnacle of luxury, and it will be an honor to work on such a successful and well-received project,” added John Gomes of Douglas Elliman.
