4. Idaho Springs

If you’re heading on a road trip then you need to make a pit stop at Idaho Springs; here you will find several hot springs you can take a relaxing soak in whilst you take in the stunning views of the countryside.

5. Black Canyon Golf Course

If you’re a sports fan, then why not practise your swing at the Black Canyon Golf Course in Montrose? This golfing experience offers longer fairways and deeper bunkers, with extremely reasonable rates. After a long day on the course you can enjoy a relaxing lunch in the nearby cafes and restaurants.

6. Guanella Pass

If you’re into history, then you need to consider a road trip to Guanella Pass. The scenic place is almost twenty two miles long, which takes approximately two hours to complete in the car. From the ancient buildings to the charming Georgetown area, there is truly something exquisite for everybody to enjoy. There are a fair few museums too, which are a great place to stop off, stretch your legs and immerse yourself into the culture.
