2017 amfAR New York Gala

Moët & Chandon kicked off Fashion Week with an illustrious crowd at the 2017 amFAR New York Gala. Held at Cipriani Wall Street, the evening honored actress Scarlett Johansson and designer Donatella Versace for their inspiring contributions to building awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The fashion-forward crowd presented an assortment of A-list actors, socialites, models, and the fashion industry’s finest: Heidi Klum, always playing host, served a crystallized “DONATELLA” magnum of Moët & Chandon to her model-filled table including Donatella Versace (of course), Naomi Campbell, Zoe Kravitz, Amber Valletta, and Alessandra Ambrosio. The generation of supermodels all played nice, traveling in packs as Naomi and Iman (escorted by Zac Posen) shared a moment embracing each other’s faces, Heidi caught up with Adriana Lima, and others such as Candice Huffine, Hilary Rhoda, and Josephine Skriver came dressed to the nines. While the evening’s host Lena Dunham showed sick, her mother and Girls castmate Zosia Mametfilled in. Honoree Scarlett Johansson made her first public appearance post-split, delivering a tear-jerking speech upon being presented by Mark Ruffalo. Actor Jeremy Piven also presented, referring to himself as the “poor man’s Tom Ford,” and Paris Hilton could be seen wandering the room throughout the program, rarely staying put in her seat. While Alan Cumming gaveDiane Kruger lessons in using the Moët Mini vending machine, the actor later auctioned the rare item off – complete with 336 bottles of Moët Minis and golden tokens – for $85,000 benefiting amfAR.

Additional notables in attendance included: Chloe Sevigny, Johannes Huebl, Victoria Justice, Brandon Davis, Brad Goreski, the Winklevoss twins, Nina Garcia, Maye Musk, Kenneth Cole, andWinnie Harlow. The evening concluded with the crowd dancing to Ellie Goulding’s performance.

STK Downtown Turns 10

You may have missed quite the evening at STK Downtown where celebrities, professional athletes, the New York social scene gathered together to celebrate the brand’s famous Meatpacking restaurant’s 10th anniversary, while sipping on heavily poured drinks, and over the top bites.

Notable celebrity guests who attended including Rachel Bloom (Golden Globe winning star of the breakout TV series, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) , Michael Strahan (lNFL athlete/ co-host of Good Morning America), and Dorinda Medley (star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City) were seen sipping on cocktails and Champagne while indulging in STK classics such as tuna tartare, Lil’ BRGs, seafood towers, and of course, the finest steaks. Everyone was in great spirits, enjoying the evening filled with entertainment, including a special restaurant-wide flash mob choreographed to a few of the hottest songs from the past decade, models wielding toy meat cleavers, pounds of shiny confetti and a fleet of luxury cars out front. Zac Stacey and Pepper Johnson of the New York Jets were also in attendance.

For the past 10 years, STK Downtown—the global company’s very first location—has been the go-to restaurant in Downtown NYC and a Meatpacking district institution. It was no surprise that its anniversary celebration was over-the-top and one for the books.

Paris Hilton and Bella Magazine Celebrate Fashion Week and Her New Fragrance

She is a vintage reality star and has been able to continue making a career of her own, being an international DJ, opening her first property, and launching her 20th fragrance. Tuesday night Paris Hilton celebrated the launch of her new fragrance Gold Rush and the cover of Bella Magazine at the chic Bagatelle. As Paris promotes her new business ventures she continues to work on her music as she heads back to Ibiza to play her new music. One should not expect similar music as her infamous Stars Are Blind single, which we all grew to love. Paris describes herself as the sexy bottle that’s as statuesque as her Goldrush, as “Sexy and excited how the bottle turned out, and the scent being amazing” When I asked if it was male-friendly (hoping to get sprayed by Ms. Hilton) I was informed that a male version will be launching in a few weeks. When not promoting Goldrush, Paris had been in town spending time with her sister Nicky and new daughter, Lilly. Paris has been around this week doing press tours and hanging out at the stock exchange. On Fashion Week, Paris Hilton says her favorite show was Designer Jeremy Scott’s, saying, “I love him, we’ve been very good friends for a long time, I love his clothes.  He’s so talented and so creative and there really is no one like him and his risk.”  I think we can all agree after seeing his latest designs. After giving her interviews and photos taken with fans, Paris relaxed with her group of friends in the back corner of Bagatelle. It was a fun evening to celebrate the new Paris Hilton, and to remind us of her fragrance, her business, and love of family.  Don’t expect to see her slow down.
