Compass, has announced that award-winning real estate agent Michael Graves has joined Compass and departed Douglas Elliman.

Michael has quickly risen through ranks while quietly closing dozens of high profile and record setting deals in many of Manhattan’s most sought after buildings. Graves specializes in the positioning and marketing of luxury new development and resale. He has sold over one billion dollars of real estate in his career. He has been ranked 7th nationwide by the REAL Trends’ The Thousand for average transaction price and 92nd nationwide for total sales volume and was named The Real Deal's Rising Real Estate Star under 35. Graves currently represents active exclusive listings worth $326.5 million, of those $129.5 million are currently under contract.

Prior to that, he served as Sales and Marketing Director for his family's luxury hotel development company, Graves Hospitality, which received top accolades during his tenure such as Travel & Leisure's "World's Best Hotels," ESNY Lumen Award, and "Gold Reserve of Top Hotels" by CondeNast Traveler.
